Why should you hire us?

Anyone can play music. A DJ should do more than simply play music. The DJ brings out the personality of the event. He or she adds to the atmosphere. He or she must be experienced enough to constantly adjust throughout the event to assure everyone has a good time.


Why us? Because of our years of experience, our personalized service, our attention to detail, our energy and enthusiasm, our extensive collection of the best party music of all time, over 400K songs, and our ability to read a crowd and play what they respond to, making sure the party exceeds your expectations! Many, Many times when booked for a certain length of time, we are paid to go PAST the booked time… either it’s from the bride and groom, their family, or EVEN THE GUESTS !!!

Do we require a retainer fee and a signed contract?

Yes. We require a deposit/retainer fee for all events. You can make a payment by mail, online, or by phone(Cashapp/Venmo/Zelle?Apple Pay).


Your date is not officially secure until your retainer fee and signed contract is in our office. However, we will not book another event on your day while your contract is being completed.


Once you have been given a contract, you have 14 days to sign the contract and put down a deposit to hold your date. After 14 days, without a returned contract, the date is then opened back up for other potential clients without notice.

Is my retainer fee refundable? What about other payments?

No. Your retainer fee is non-refundable to protect us from lost bookings due to scheduling your event and blocking out your date from future searches, but it is TRANSFERABLE to another open date for a future booking within 6-months of the day of a contract signed. See our Terms of Service on refunds regarding all payments made after the deposit/retainer.

How far are we willing to travel for an event?

We are willing to travel anywhere. We give you a travel allowance of up to 50 miles one way from Northern VA with NO TRAVEL FEE. Longer distances will require a per diem based on mileage. Contact us for more information! Google Maps are used for mileage/distance determination.

Do you take requests from our guests?

That’s up to you! The majority of parties that we do include taking requests from guests. Some clients prefer no requests from the guests and we respect their wishes. But when guests are allowed to make requests and hear the songs they like to dance to, they become more emotionally involved with the event and walk away with fonder memories of the evening. We do not play inappropriate requests at events and have developed subtle ways to satisfy the guest without offending them.

Will we set up early for my event?

We always arrive early at least 90mins for every event to accommodate setup needs. Once at your event location, we coordinate with photographers, videographers, caterers and event supervisors to make sure your event runs smoothly.

Do we use professional equipment?

All of our DJ equipment are industry’s standard, professional and top-of-the-line. We have a variety of equipment that are interchangeable so that we can adapt to any size location.

Terms of Service

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION

A non-refundable security deposit is required when booking your event. This deposit is deducted from your total event cost and will show in your invoice statement. The final payment is due 10 days prior to the event. In any case of cancellation, the deposit can be claimed for another event within 6-months of the day of the contract signed.

 

ADDITIONAL HOURS 

In the event that additional hours of Services are requested, and Ecstatic Entertainment accepts the request, additional Services will be charged at the rate payable the day of the event. The parties understand and agree that it may not always be possible to provide additional performance time, and Ecstatic Entertainment is under no obligation to accept an offer to purchase additional hours of Services.

 

EMERGENCY 

The agreement is subject to proven detention by accidents, transportation issues, riots, strikes, epidemics, any random acts of God, or any other legitimate conditions beyond their control. If such circumstances arise, all reasonable efforts will be made by Ecstatic Entertainment to make it to the event or find replacement entertainment at the agreed-upon fees. Should Ecstatic Entertainment be unable to procure a replacement, Purchaser shall receive a full refund.

 

BREAKS 

For any event less than five hours, we will not take any breaks and your service should be uninterrupted. For an over 5 -hour event, we may require a thirty-minute break or add an assistant.

 

PERFORMANCE SPACE 

Purchaser shall provide Ecstatic Entertainment with safe and appropriate working conditions. Ecstatic Entertainment requires a minimum of two 15-20-amp circuit outlet from a reliable power source within 25 feet (along with the wall) of the set-up area if applicable. This circuit must be free of all other connected loads. Any delay in the performance or damage to our equipment due to improper power is the responsibility of the purchaser.

 

TRAVEL 

Events within Northern VA, DC and Southern MD (D.M.V) will not be assessed a travel charge. Services requiring travel outside this area will be charged at $0.50 per mile. Events in excess of 100 miles will require accommodations be made for an overnight stay in a local hotel for Ecstatic Entertainment to be provided by Purchaser.

 

CONTRACT EXECUTION 

By executing this contract as Purchaser, the person executing said contract, either individually, or as an agent or representative, represents and warrants that he or she is eighteen (18) years of age, and further, if executing said contract as agent or representative, that he or she has the authority to enter into this agreement and should he or she not have such authority, he or she personally accepts and assumes full responsibility and liability under the terms of this contract.
